3 things on my mind…

1. Over the weekend Jeff and I saw Captain Fantastic. Have you heard of it? Probably the most emotionally exhausting movie I’ve seen in years. Well written, off beat, uncomfortable at times, but a nice change from the other movies out right now. Worth checking out.

2. I’m hooked on a few moisturizers right now. About a week before I start my period I use this PCA morning and night. It totally prevents hormonal breakouts. The rest of the month I alternate between this A.G.E Interrupter cream and this Overnight Cream. Both add great moisture and both reduce the appearance of fines lines and wrinkles. The A.G.E also helps with creping and thinning skin that naturally happen as we age. You can’t go wrong with any of them! All three links are the best prices I’ve found online.

3. We are LOVING the Olympics this week. Our top favorites are Laurie Hernandez (the human emoji)  for Gymnastics and Katie Ledecky for swim. Super excited for Track and Field to start. I mentioned last week that the girls started Jr. Guards and my sweet Avery who fought me on signing her up is doing really well.  Last week she came in 6th (out of 150+ kids) in the 1/2 mile ocean swim. I was crying watching her come in. Gosh, it’s so rewarding as a parent to watch my children try hard things that they wouldn’t choose to do on their own and do well. All three girls are also standing up to surf now thanks to Jeff. He’s so good about taking them out whenever they ask and patiently teaching them till they got it.
