DIY LIPGLOSS

I teach a group of girls in my church once a week. They call it “Activity Days” for these cute young girls. We do everything from crafts to life lessons to making lipgloss. I taught them a lesson about keeping their lips sweet (not gossiping or spreading rumors) and made lipgloss while talking about this.

JARS – It’s super easy to make. I found my jars at Michaels in the bead section.

Crystal Light for coloring, Coconut Oil and Petroleum Jelly

I kept it easy and wanted a really easy clean-up. We used paper bowls and plastic spoons for everything.

Use 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and petroleum jelly. Melt in microwave. 20 seconds

Once melted stir in desired amount of coloring. (don’t use too much, it can get really tart)

pour into jar. Let stand for 1-2 hours.
