Friendly Halloween

One of my most favorite and talented friends graces L&L with her presence today.  We love the creativity from this girl and how she can make magic happen with little out of your pocket.  I can’t wait to make one of these with my kids!

HI it’s been a while. It’s Keli with a Halloween decorating idea that even your 2 year old could help with.
Undoubtably Halloween isn’t my favoritest of holidays. I admit it, A: I am scurrrrred of everything.  B: I really hate the idea of my kids teeth rotting away with every KING SIZED Hershey bar that’s thrown into their trick or great bag. C: Honestly, I’m mad at Fall every year for taking away my Summer. Say it together, Wahhhh wahhhhh. #sorryimnotsorry.
However, I am a mommy of  3 girls who would never. EVER want to spoil their childhood by not participating in this creepy holiday. (but it was so much cuter when they were babies and could wear pottery barn costumes.) With all that said… I really am a fun mom, so please keep reading and check out what 4 Roche girls can make of 20 bucks and my Un-favorite holiday. YOU too can do this!
BEFORE
Since we’re a house full of girls we decided our monster face needed to have a feminine twist with elements of all our girls. SOPHIE || the spiders for braces. EVE || the bright pink lips. CAMILLE || the sparkly purple spider that looks like the bows she wears everyday! It was raining today in California so I couldn’t get the best of picts. I mean rain? What? That never happens here!!
AFTER
I would say that this is BIG impact with little money and a small amount of work. and i can guarantee it  will make your neighbors smile.
I pretty much got everything from the 99 cents store, besides the pumpkins. My total was maybe $20 for all these items below.
Construction paper, spider webs, sparkly spiders, BIG sparkly spider, plates for the teeth and eyes, colored lights, painters tape and candles. Buy whatever looks fun to you, except for the bloody hand window adornment please.

NOW get to work, get your kids to work…The countdown is on!
                                                             Happy Friendly Halloween.
                                                                          Xo. Kel

Thanks SO very much for sharing Keli!

Need some costume ideas?  We found these and thought they were fun!
