Breast Cancer Awareness

Supporting Women Top to Bottom
How has CANCER affected you? Most of us in some kind of way have our own cancer experience to share.

I have my own story with cancer. We lost my sweet grandma to cancer when she was only 55 years old. My mom just gave birth to my little sister Kristen. My mom has missed her own mother in her life for over 25 years. I can’t imagine how she has managed life without her mom. She was such an amazing lady with so much energy and love to give. She had a heart of gold and a zest for life. Her smile and laughter was contagious. I have the fondest memories of her. We often had sleepovers at her house and I remember staying up late listening to all of her exciting stories. She would dress up as, “The Purple Lady” and chase us around the house for hours. Oh, how I miss her.

The saddest part about this story is that my nana could still be here with all of us today if she had been checked properly. Please get your yearly check ups so that you can make sure you are cancer free before it’s too late. Please take care of yourself. Get checked regularly. It can happen to anyone! No one is safe.  It doesn’t matter if you exercise and drink your green juice everyday. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t smoked a day in your life. Of course these are ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle but CANCER just happens.
Our favorite maternity and loungewear line, BELABUMBUM is supporting the OCNA and giving 100% of proceeds to this cancer campaign. Please, please support. You will love the teal & pink “top to bottom set”.  It’s soft, lightweight and so comfortable. Miss USA is even showing her support! You can purchase the set here

If I have another baby I will definitely get the matching gowns.
I have touched these pi’s in person and they are the coziest little sleepers.
