Use Gluten Free Crackers for a digestion-friendly option. Crackers are ok for kids in moderation. Spread with some cream cheese and top with fruit or veggies.

  2. I have watched Extreme Weightloss since it was Extreme Makeover; Weightloss Edition and I love it! Both Chris and Heidi are amazing and I would love to have the tools to transform myself. I am a newly divorced single mother of three and since my marriage failed in early 2012 I gained a lot of weight. I am now at 365 lbs seeing that I need to learn to take care of myself physically not only to be here with my children for a long time but to be able to be a better mom to them by becoming active along with them. I would love this book to help me with this!

    • You can totally do it! Push and believe in yourself! Learn to truly love yourself inside and out and you will find it a lot easier to truly transform yourself. You can do!

  4. I’ve always had a problem with my weight and since having my son last year, it’s just out of control. I could usually get most of the unwanted weight off, but now it’s near impossible. I want to lost the weight once and for all and am tired of fad dieting. I want a new lifestyle change and that’s why I want to Choose More, Lose More for Life!   5. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for a very long time. I am not extremely overweight but am heavier than I need to be. Even with my Doctor(who suggested I take amphetamines; no thanks) and counting calories and exercise I stayed at the same weight. I suffer from migraines quite often. I am allergic to fish and eggs so my diet is pretty boring. I feel like I eat pretty well for the most part. I love watching your show. It really keeps me motivated. I’ve been trying to keep your tips in mind. I even tell my husband when I eat something I shouldn’t “Chis Powell would be so disappointed in me right now!” Brenda

  7. I want this so badly. I follow everything you guys do now that I found Extreme Weight Loss on ABC, I think I’ve watched almost every YouTube on it, while doing school work and working mind you. I want to learn how to do this carb cycling everyone is talking about, print out a grocery thing of only the things I should eat and then find some recipes to make it all taste good and not like cardboard.
    My husband and I both need to lose weight. I tried weight watchers but after looking at what they thought was healthy and going by numbers?1 I wanted to just know what was good, what was bad, how to eat, when etc. Looking at how much sugar is in their items and sodium. I said No more to all junk food. Well, we’re trying. I’m telling my husband in October, we are donating all our food that comes in a box and going to then go to a store and have noting but what is in your book. My library has been out of it for almost 2 months and I am waiting for my darn bookstore to get 1 in stock!! Winning this would be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Hoping for the best for you and your family!!

  8. I “choose more, lose more for life” because being fit and choosing healthy habits is what I want to be a part of my life in my 30’s 40’s and for as long as I live. I enjoy working out and the feeling I get after a workout is explainable and No One can take this away from me, I love it’ and love my self.

Chris & Heidi are a blessing to us all, I think that most of us can say we have tried all the fads out there in weightloss products but none worked for me because it’s not just physical it’s a mental and emotional state to do it. I have had many struggles being overweight (297.8 lbs at 5’3 height) and it has taken a toll on me and my life. I want “Choose More, Lose More for Life” because I want to be an active mom with my 3 girls I want to live and enjoy it. I recently got married to a wonderful man I met back in 2009 who accepted me as I am and has been a great and inspiration father figure to my girls. Who I would love to give a child to. I want to be healthy for me and my family! Chris and Heidi I believe there is a reason for why you do what you do for all of us you are a angels blessed from above its people like you I wish that were more of.   14. I love the Powell’s ! They live the program of eating better for life. Its not a diet it is a way to live better for life. I would love the book as I would love to take in more information and more receipts and more ideas to further my weight loss I have already heard and read threw Facebook and beyond, but the book teaches how to lose the safe way and live life and this is something I would love to have to use it more then just a book but also a reference in the everyday of my life and my family’s. They are real people… and have a family… They are like many as well as my family…

  15. I am 25 years old and have been on my weight loss journey for about 6 months now and have lost about 25 pounds. I still have over 60 pounds to lose and was losing motivation until I came across Extreme Weight Loss. I have Hulu and watched every episode of Season 3 in a couple weeks! I was so encouraged to see the amount of compassion Chris and Heidi have for people. I started following them both on Facebook and began to study what carb cycling was all about and knew this wasn’t a fad diet. This approach was a way to lose weight the healthy way AND keep it off.   16. Loss=Gain. I lost my dear sweet 8 year old handicapped son a year ago Easter morning. 2 years prior I embarked on a journey to focus on myself instead of my son’s deteriating health. I lost 52# and maintained my loss until my body didn’t know how to process grief. I gained 45 grief pounds. Today I am struggling to focus once again on myself without my son physically here on earth with me, and have lost 17 pounds so far. I miss him terrribly and want to be comforted so badly and the only comfort I know is to turn to food, BUT I know that is not true comfort. True comfort is learning and healing to love and accept myself despite where I am on this journey.

  17. I am choosing to lose more for life! I have been working to change my diet and exercise. I have lost over 40 pounds on my journey so far. By choosing to lose, spending time with my family and friends and riding and showing my horses is much more enjoyable for me because I feel so much better! I love watching Chris’ show, and I would love to read his book. I have been following Chris and Heidi for awhile now, and I absolutely love them!

  19. I look forward to reading “Choose to Loose More for Life”..I am very interested in learning about carb cycling. I am finally losing the baby weight I gained in 2012 during my 3rd pregnancy. It seems much more difficult now as I am 14 years older after having my first and 7 years older after having my second. Love to watch Extreme Makeover and have been blown away by the outcomes.     I saw Chris in Extreme Makeover: Weight loss, I was so impressed about his energy…he gave me motivation to start…then I discovered Heidi and I started to follow her advices on her blog… Well, now I have “built” a little sport corner in my house, full of little posters
    taken from their fb profile 🙂 they motivates me a lot!

I am entering because I have to lose 100lbs after my triple by pass in May 2012 or the Drs say it will happen again, an I don’t plan on ever having to go thru that again, it was hard on me an worse on my family, Chris an his show have helped me feel more like living this show season an helped me out of my terrible depression, I had to lose the guilt of why did I get to live while children were dying, not that I get that yet, however Chris showed me though his show an personality that we all are here for a reason an to not live to get that is a waste, lol so I am chooseing to live as long as I can an take it one day at a time an NEVER EVER GIVE UP!   26. Being healthy and fit comes with more than losing weight. It is a state of well-being all around (physically and mentally). Throughout most of my life, I struggled with being overweight. I have also taken it to the extremes when I found ‘Ana’ (anorexia) a few years ago. Along with dealing with that horrific disease that almost took me, I was also in an emotionally abusive relationship. I felt like I was nothing, cut off all of my friends and family (even my own children), and gave up everything I enjoyed just to live that life. I was a personal trainer at the time (and still am today), and felt that living under a microscope (constantly being watched by the public eye) I had to look that part. It was only at my lowest weight, 88 lbs, that I snapped out of my little dream world and woke up to reality. I realized what I had missed out on for so long. Leaving behind my relationship that drug me down, along with ‘Ana’, I fought for not only my life, but my way to regain the life I had with my family. Today, I still battle ‘Ana’ and her thoughts of going back. It will always be there since it is a mental disorder, but now I can truly see why it’s worth more to live and love myself for who I am. I choose more, not only to lose more, but because I deserve to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. I want to be that example to my kids to carry on to theirs.

  27. I first heard about Chris Powell when he chose to help David Smith to regain his life back. Later I found Extreme Weight Loss, to see the passion and care that both Chris and Heidi show to those who need them is amazing. I see a lot of the people that were on that show not only sticking to it but they are also still very close with Chris and Heidi. That is truly inspiring and amazing. My husband and I have been fighting a losing battle with our weight for many years along with many people here. We want to change our lives around completely and this would really help with that. I have been trying to live a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family for years, but for me i don’t know how to really do that..In the past if i have wanted to lose weight i would just stop eating, (and then when i would start eating again it was pretty much junk food or just not a balanced diet) it was the fastest way not only to lose the weight but see the difference. I have 3 kids and i don’t want them to deal with any weight issues especially for my daughter!   32. I am choosing “choose more loose more for life” Because Im sick and tired of being SICK AND TIRED. I feel like crap every single day. I have no energy whatsoever and Im a married 24 year old mother of two. Im in beauty school but my PASSION is Nutrition and helping people. My dream is to become a functional medicine doctor or something having to do with healing from the inside out. I genuinely want to help people change their lives. I hate seeing people suffer, I hate it. But I cant help people until I am whole. I eat pretty dang healthy and I excercise but since Ive had kids I cant seem to loose anything. I am gaining muscle but I dont FEEL better. Its hard to even get out of bed every day and make my kids food. I dont THINK im depressed but I know I need a change and Im ready for it. Im tired of feeling like crap every day. I want to be my best self. I want energy and LOTS of it. I want my family healthy( My kids LOVE kale and dandelion greens and just about every fruit and veggie to exist) Ive done pretty well with them but I need a change. I could cry just thinking about how miserable I am daily. I would love a copy of the book, Ive tried so many remedies and whatnot. Having a book in front of me with exactly what to do would be a godsend.

  34. As a cancer survivor, I know the importance of a good diet and exercise. I neglected my health for too long and I’ve got catching up to do. I could use the advice and knowledge from this book. Chris and Heidi are such wonderful inspirations to not only the people on Extreme Makeover, but to anyone who reads their blogs and follows them on social media. I have lost 70 pounds in the last year but it’s getting harder to figure out new ways to keep my diet from getting old and outdated. I would love to have a copy of the book to help me get back in the swing of losing weight and to continue feeling better.

  37. i would luv to get my heads and mind on his book. i have been overweight all my life and over the past 5 1/2 yrs have lost and gained. on the wagon off the wagon as i call it. i think i have tried almost everything that i feel is not health damaging to lose. i have as of now left behind a total of 177 lbs and have more to go. i have learned that this journey is a hard long lifetime one. but so have enjoyed reaping the benefits of the weight i have left behind. i am now finally living life and not just watching other live it.

  47. I just love the relationship I have seen with Chris and Heidi. I have seen shows with Chris and have always been inspired and felt like he was a man of honor and someone to respect. He genuinely seemed to care about others. And while I sat and watched him and the people he would help I would cry and celebrate with them, all while eating junk food and wishing I could be like them. At one point I was. I started running and eating healthy and lost 110 lbs but then life happened and I have gained 80+ lbs back and can’t seem to shake the feeling of being a failure.     Why I want to Choose More, Lose More for Life…

    I’ve been carrying a lot of weight around for a very long time. My boys are getting older and I decided to go to college. I’ve spent a couple of years really thinking about what I wanted to be, who I wanted to be. I really have been enjoying Psychology and Criminology courses and so I decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. I will transfer colleges next semester to begin my pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Obviously, to be in law enforcement, I have to be able to pass a physical test. Right now, I couldn’t do that. The catalyst though is a little more in depth. The why is that I live in a beautiful area (we just moved) and I really want to be able to enjoy being active with my boys. It won’t be long before they are running off to college and I want to make the most of the time we have to teach them healthy living and create great memories. Also, my mother recently ended up in the hospital because her legs are swollen to the point that she cannot walk. The reason the doctor gave was her weight. I don’t want to be in that situation. I don’t want to be told that I cannot walk because I weigh too much. Right now, that is a very real possibility. So, I want to Choose More for my life. I want to Lose More For Life so that I can HAVE a life.
