Tips On Styling Your Kitchen

If you live in Orange County, you have definitely heard of Owens & Davis! If you live outside of California chances are still really good you’ve heard of this design duo!  These ladies have been sprucing up homes for years and recently started a website dedicated to design and beautiful living. I’m obsessed with THIS dining room makeover!  I love all things Owens & Davis and was super excited to have them offer us a few tips for the kitchen!

Here are a few of our favorite tips for styling a kitchen:
Beautiful wood cutting boards in different shapes and sizes are one of our favorite styling tools right now. They are useful and great eye candy at the same time. It’s nice to have your serving utensils on hand, and we love to find unique containers to keep them in. When we style open shelving, we like to coordinate the display with one or two colors. We layer stacks of dishes and glasses to create a clean minimal feel. There are so many beautiful cook books available right now, add a few of your favorites for some color. Finally, adding a little green with a potted plant or fresh flowers brings life to a kitchen.
