I spent 5 days in the city for my birthday this year and my girlfriends made it so special for me! It was quite the party. I’m still on a high from all the fun and laughs we had. Here is a look into some of my favorite places to see and eat in the BIG APPLE. xx, Jenna
Restaurants & Treats
Saks Fifth Avenue or Bergdorf Goodman’s cafe for lunch and shopping – People watching is the absolute best here. Make sure and ask for a table by a window so you can have a view. The shopping is always super fancy and such a treat. It’s my favorite to visit on birthdays or Christmas if I get a chance to splurge a little.
Beauty & Essex – the perfect restaurant for brunch with your girlfriends. Probaly one of my top 5 meals in Manhattan. I’ve heard that dinner is just as amazing as the brunch. Dine on Eggs Benedict, beignets, mini doughnuts that melt in your mouth and red velvet waffles with whip cream. It’s amazing!
Empire Cake – best black & white cookies in all of Manhattan, trust me on this one. I’ve changed many people’s minds & haven’t met someone that disagrees with me on this.
TAO Downtown – really cool vibe and trendy atmosphere. The Dj doesn’t disappoint. The food is amazing.
Jacques Torres Chocolate – glass wall shop of infinite amounts of chocolate. The famous chocolate chip cookies are worth everything if you can get here. I love the shots of milk in the homemade cookie dough. AMAZING!!
Delicatessen in SoHo – outdoor seating available, I love the tuna tartare so much. The truffle artichoke dip is beyond amazing. One of my favorite
Shake Shack – Such a NYC staple
Dough Doughnuts – I have such a LOVE for this doughnut shop. They will melt in your mouth. They are unique and the flavor combos are awesome. I love the Dulce de Leche and Cinnamon Sugar.
One Girl Cookies – If you make it to Brooklyn please go here for treats. I love the red velvet cupcakes.
Booties | Jeans | Valentino Bag | Fringe Tunic – ZARA
Hotels & Shopping
Gansevoort Hotel & Rooftop – the perfect rooftop to grab drinks & lunch with friends. The view is beautiful and it’s pretty quiet during the day. At night the rooftop is loud and super crowded. Room service is really great. The granola and yogurt in the mornings is my absolute favorite.
Le Parker Meridien Hotel – This hotel is top of my list. The rooftop enclosed pool has 365 degree views of the city and central park. This hotel has so many amenities. Great restaurants like Norma’s for brunch, the burger joint and Knave. Also the best nail salon called Ten Over Ten is conveniently located right in the hotel.
The New York Palace – This hotel is really beautiful! Located close to Rockefeller Center. This hotel was the hotel featured in Gossip Girl.
Outfit details || I love walking Meatpacking District. The shopping and cobblestone streets are just perfection!
Fitness & Beauty
We are Pucker – Makeup Bar to get you all ready for night. Such a fun spot to go with girlfriends.
Reflexology in China Town – Pop in any cheap $20 reflexology parlors for the best massage of your life. Seriously you can thank me later.
SoulCycle in NoHO
Aqua Cycle Studio
Equinox – just because I love my gym and I can find a location pretty much anywhere I go in the city. The classes and instructors are the best around.
Yoga in Brooklyn Bridge Park
Brookyln Bridge Park is my favorite spot. You can get here by walking on the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan, or take a ferry boat, subway or taxi. Dumbo area in Brooklyn has so much to offer. i can spend all day here.
