Last Week of Summer

This is our last week of summer break. How in the world is it over already? My kids are anxious to start their brand new schools and meet new friends. It’s going to be an exciting year. we’ve had such a cool month getting to know Connecticut. The New England vibe is really charming and lovely. Our home is surrounded by a forest preserve (as you can see below) and then down the street we have the great big ocean to play in. We really love our new home. Contentment is the best feeling anyone can have. It’s taken me a long time to feel it and I really do. I know my kids can grow up here and be every bit as happy as I was growing up on the west coast. I’m learning how to be an east coaster and one of these days you might catch me with a sweater tied around my neck. 🙂 Cheers to new beginnings, contentment and to being the best person we know we can be.

I’ve had my eye on this dress and never wanted to pay full price. It’s now on sale in blue and also in cream. I LOVE everything about it.
