It’s officially spring and I am more than ready to put away all of my heavy sweaters, jackets, and boots for a while. Don’t get me wrong – I love cozy layers as much as the next person but I’m excited to finally start wearing some of my favorite blouses, flowy dresses, and sandals again! Plus, all of the trends this season are SO good. One of my main focuses this spring is replacing a few pairs of sandals that I’ve had for a few seasons and have gotten a lot of wear.
When shopping for sandals, Nordstrom is always my first (and more often than not – my only) stop! They have so many great options at all price points and I always end up leaving with more than I went in for. Oops!
I recently picked up these Open Edit sandals from Nordstrom and haven’t stopped wearing them since. Featuring a square toe design, these 3-inch sandals are the perfect casual heeled sandal for all of your spring outfits. I love pairing mine with jeans and a blouse – it gives the look a more elevated feel.
If you’ve been eying this style sandal, this pair is under $50! They’re super comfortable and the adjustable straps help give you a customized fit (no more loose sandals!). I find they run true to size! They also come in a few different colors. I’m eying the black next!
This spring, we’re seeing a lot of fun sandal designs! From braided and criss-cross straps, to platforms, there are so many amazing sandal options that fit every style. A few pairs I’m eyeing are these slide sandals featuring woven bands, this pair of puff quilted heeled sandals, and these platform beauties.
If you like to take a less is more classic approach to sandals, Nordstorm also has some great options! These braided sandals and these braided slides can take you from work to girls night out to the beach!
The great thing about sandals is how easy they are to style from day to night! I love pairing a heeled sandal with a great pair of jeans and a top for girls night out and this pair is perfect! When I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking or chasing the kids around, I like to opt for a flatter sandal, like these slides. Paired with denim shorts and a flowy top, you’re ready to go!
