DRUGSTORE BEAUTY FAVORITES

It’s here! Thanks for asking for this drugstore post for 2016. I’m a product junkie and try everything under the sun. This year I found new drugstore finds that I’m super proud of and really excited to share with you. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to take care of yourself. In fact, some drugstore companies put more money and investment into their drugstore beauty lines than the more expensive lines. Take a look at what is new and what is trending still. You can also check out drugstore must haves from a few years ago that is still sharing top trending products.

1.On the go GLOW TONIC PADS with 5% GLYCOLIC – these exfoliating pads are super quick and easy to travel with or keep in a purse. You can exfoliate your skin with this 5% glycolic formula anywhere with these easy to use pads. This keeps your skin looking fresh while it removes old skin cells. Keep your skin tones, exfoliated and hydrated.  When you need more strength you can go up to the 20% glycolic pads. Do not use everyday!

2.LASH NOURISH MAKEUP REMOVER PADS – these are perfect for dissolving your make up off while keeping your eyes hydrated. This product also helps the growth of your own lashes by conditioning them and strengthening them. It’s one of the best drugstore finds this year. This brand was developed by a supermodel and it has amazing reviews everywhere!

3. GLOW TONIC PADS with 20% GLYCOLIC – These are used after you clean your face. Wipe your skin with these pads and your skin will tingle. The glycolic acid works to improve texture and increase cell turnover. Helps fight dark spots and the overall tone of your skin. Your skin will be left with a glow! This is new for 2016. These glycolic pads are all the rage right now. Make sure and wear sunscreen as these make your skin sensitive. Do not use every night. Try every two-three nights the first week. Adjust accordingly.

4. CLEANSING WATER by SIMPLE – I keep this around for morning cleanses. It’s gentle and hydrating. It’s the perfect cleansing water to use after a workout, waking up, or when you don’t have a lot of make up on. It’s a great cleanser to change the ph of your skin to get that clean and fresh feeling.When I need to get all my make up off at the end of the day, I prefer this cleanser. I always do TWO cleanses at night. The FIRST cleanse to remove make up and the SECOND cleanse to actually clean the skin after the make up is removed.

5.This ANTI-AGING SERUM is Europe’s #1 beauty item. It’s anti aging properties and ingredients amaze me. I can’t believe the price on this for such a great serum! Read my REVIEW ON THIS SERUM HERE.

6.RAPID WRINKLE EYE REPAIR – sometimes it blows my mind that we have access to retinol at the drugstore! For $18 you can use this amazing eye cream that delivers Retinol SA to the area of application. This will fight to get rid of crows feet and help the cell turnover to increase. I was also happy with this product because it also contains Hylauronic Acid which plumps the area and brings hydration to it. It’s the perfect combination of ingredients for an eye cream. I love it! Who needs the expensive brands when you have this!

7.RAPID WRINKLE REPAIR – this works hand in hand with #6. This is for the face at night time. Delivers Retinol SA and hylauronic acid to the skin to smooth wrinkles and improve texture. Use every other night. Retinol makes your skin sensitive so make sure and wear sunscreen!

8.I’m the biggest fan of OLAY REGENERIST products.You will get professional results by using this 3 step anti-aging process consistently. I use this and I’m so happy with the result. I’ve looked hard for another cream that I like better and I can’t find one! The night cream remains my favorite for 2016! I also love that the day moisturizer has spf. If you want to keep things easy just get this kit. You will have fantastic results.

9.REVITALIFT PEEL PADS by LOREAL – this product has been highly anticipated by beauty gurus! These glycolic peel pads are a lot like #3. These are used after you clean your face. Wipe your skin with these pads and your skin will tingle. The glycolic acid works to improve texture and increase cell turnover. Your skin will be left with a glow! This is new for 2016.

1.I found these REAL Technique BRUSHES while watching a beauty  “you tuber” that raved about them. On sale for $12! The kit includes every bruush needed to create a complete look. The bristles are smooth and easy to clean. You can watch tutorials online to give you ideas on how to use them like a beauty pro!

2.REAL Technique BRUSHES – this will help create more dramatic looks. For the beauty pro! 

3.NYX PORE FILLER – magical agent that minimizes the look & size of your pores. This will create smooth and porcelain skin before your make up goes on.

4.MICROEXFOLIATING TONER – light refreshing toner that contains vitamin C. I use this after I cleanse to make sure all the make up is off. It also sets the skin before a moisturizer goes on. I’m obsessed with Sonia Kashuk. Check out the skincare line and the make up at your next Target trip. SONIA KASHUK MAKE UP is amazing too! I’m loving all the contouring kits and concealers.

5.After working with COVERGIRL I haven’t changed my foundation. I fell in love with this foundation. I love this twistable little foundation compact. It’s so easy to apply with the sponge instead of liquid foundation. Gives great coverage and has an spf. I also love that I can spot apply it to add more coverage in certain areas. It’s very buildable. Is that a word? WIN!!

7.NYX EYESHADOW BASE -this is hypoallergenic. It’s great for long lasting eyeshadow. It will keep your eyeshadows on all day long and night if you need! 🙂

8.ILLUMINATING PALETTE – did you read about contouring & highlighting here? This is the perfect compact for it at $5! It’s so inexpensive and the pigments are amazing. Another big “you tuber” success!

9-10. BLUSH/BRONZER COMPACTS – These compacts of color are so pigmented. Have you heard of Milani cosmetics? I love these cheek compacts full of fun colors for $7!

11. I compared this EYE SHADOW PALETTE to my expensive one that has almost the same colors. There was zero difference. The pigment is just as good in this drugstore brand. It just shows that you don’t need to spend more money to get better products. This is $6 compared to the one I have at $75! What a savings. ps this is a new palette for 2016.

13.VIVID MATTE LIPS – these go on a little more shimmery than the actual name “MATTE” but these lip glosses are full of pigment and hydration. At the price you can get all the colors!

14-15.I discovered these BURT’S BEES in Paris. All the girls in the family had them and convinced me. The colors are great and they hydrate just like the chapsticks. Really fun to have the LIP CRAYON rollable sticks. (Carolina Coast and Sedona Sands) in the LIPSTICK I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Iced Iris

16.EYE STUDIO MASTER DEFINING EYES – now this is an amazing eyeliner. Defines your eyes and lash line so well. Your eyes will POP!

17.NYX MATTE LIP CREAM – these are huge everywhere. People have drawers full of these matte lip creams. Inexpensive and deliver great color. Always a winner.
