Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is less than two weeks away! It’s easily my favorite holiday. I love springtime with fresh blossoms, warm days/cool nights and all the new warm weather arrivals in stores! I try and limit the amount of candy that goes in my girls easter baskets. In years past, I end up throwing it away after a day or two anyway. It makes me cringe to see so many candy wrappers in the trash knowing they ate it so fast. This year as far as treats go, they are each getting these incredibly fun boxes of chocolates from Maggie Louise! Take a look, they are boxes of edible art. Mine should be here any day, so I’ll share them on Instagram Story once they arrive.

Other fun EASTER BASKET ideas I like to use:

Swimsuits! All of my girls love Kortni Jeane suits and I Goldie is getting this COLOR BLOCK SUIT in her basket this year.

Sandals! Avery and Poppy are getting these SANDALS in their baskets.

Towels! I am a HUGE fan of thin TURKISH towels. They dry super quick and I can pack 5 of them easily into our BEACH TOTE.

I’ve heard my kids talking about these STRESS CUBES. Kids at school have them and they think they are super cool.

Lipgloss! MAC just released 53 shades of their newest LIPGLASS formula. Say goodbye to the original sticky version and hello to their best version yet!

Sport Bras! Essential for tween/teens and Goldie just wants to wear them..Our absolute favorites are from Ivivva! Avery prefers this DRILL BRA, Poppy’s favorite is CROP TOP BRA and Goldie wants anything REVERSIBLE.

Jump Ropes! A classic for any child. I ordered THIS ONE.

Pool Floats! Always a crowd pleaser. Remember this GIANT UNICORN FLOAT? Wow, those were intense to take down to the beach, but so much fun! Loving this SHELL, BOMB POP, PALM LEAF & GIANT CACTUSIf you own a float, do yourself a huge favor and keep a AIR PUMP in your bag!

Mad Libs! Such a childhood favorite of mine.

This is banned from our home, but kids are obsessed with SLIME. My girls were making it and Goldie has literally ruined 3 loads of laundry from leaving it in her pocket (insert eye roll).

  1. Love all the non-candy ideas! Stress cubes and finger spinners are all the rage at the elementary school where I work. Gak is better than slime, in my opinion. Michael got some for his birthday; less messy.
