I’ve learned a few lessons on my journey the last couple of years with Lunchpails. Mostly life lessons, business skills and how to navigate through photoshop. This post reminded me of how much I’ve learned when it comes to buying my clothes. In the past I purchased clothes because they were on sale, or I’d make super spontaneous transactions (not thought out). I shopped for quantity instead of quality. Now I save my money to buy a couple expensive pieces for the season I’m about to go in. I’ll invest in a new designer bag, sunglasses or shoes instead of buying a bunch of random things. The random pieces would have eventually equalled the amount of a great pair of designer heels that I can keep for years! Think about the season you are shopping for. What lower priced items can you wear while supporting a Chanel bag on your shoulder. It’s all about mixing hi & low priced items to create looks that will last for years to come. I bought this bag TWO years ago during fall and guess what is still in style and my go to designer bag for fall, THIS ONE! Check out how I mixed different price points with the help from my friends at Neiman Marcus.

The bag of the season in my opinion is this Chloe Bag. I’ve thought long and hard about it. It also comes in black. I think it’s going to be the one high priced item I get this season. Eeeek!!
