Kat Von D for Sephora
If you’re looking for a matte lipstick that stays ALL day long, I’ve found the perfect one for you! Kat Von D makes the most incredible Studded Kiss line of lipsticks! At first glance I was intimidated by how much pigment these sticks have, afraid they would be too over the top for me. I asked my friend/make-up artist Danielle her thoughts. She recommend the greatest tip that I’ve used everyday since: apply lipstick in the center of your lips then take a Q-tip and blend outward to create more of lip stain. Seriously, best tip and best matte lipstick! I’ve actually worn the color L.U.V(shown here in the pics) several times on Instagram which many have asked about. It’s L.U.V, the perfect purple! My two other favorites from the Studded Kiss line are Underage Red & Homegirl.
Fun Fact: Kat Von D is the face of Valley Eyewear right now. I guess we both love us some oversized Australian eyewear. btw..this is the newest pair and they are leather!!!

Hi, I apologize if last time I left a comment it did go through, on my end it showed that it didn’t go through. I was really wanting to get a lipstick in the colour that Lisa is wearing, but upon buying L U V and using the blending technique and everything it just was not the same colour. I noticed that the product picture under Kat Von D at the bottom of the page is the colour that I have, but the very first picture on the post the L U V colour lipstick looks like a completely different colour. Are they both actually the same colour? Thanks! 🙂
Hey Aleasha! Yes I am actually wearing LUV in these pics.Everyones coloring is different so that could be why. I don’t a lot of it. More like a stain and can add layers for a deeper purple if I like. Hope this helps!
