I spent the weekend in Del Mar, California at L’ Auberge. This hotel is gorgeous! So quaint and peaceful. The view of the pacific was incredible. If you haven’t visited Del Mar, it’s a must! I love their charming downtown filled with restaurants and shops just a few steps from the beach.

The L’Auberge has two restaurants on site, one being Kitchen 1540 where Jeff and I had dinner. The ambiance was perfect for date night and the food..oh my, it was SO good! Our favorites were the chilled melon and tomatillo soup topped with shrimp and the shrimp and grits. My first time having grits..I’m a fan! For dessert we had the homemade apple butter/basil/chocolate ice-cream trio. If you’re local I’d recommend reserving a table for the Mother’s Day brunch.
Cleobella Fringe Jacket | Urban Renewal Dress (on sale) Thanks to L’Auberge for having us. We can’t wait to come back!
