All Nena bags are made in Guatemala by Maya women using RECYCLED Guatemalan shirts and dresses. Each of these bags take days to make, creating jobs for local families that live in poverty. I love that many of the bags have a pocket on the front which is actually the neckline from the shirt/dress used to create each handbag. 

• These bags are durable! I’ve taken mine to Utah and Arizona in the past month filling them as full as I could. 
• The leather is soft and looks even better as it ages.

• Two sizes: day bag and weekender. The day bag is big, perfect for a diaper or gym bag as well as can be used for an overnight travel bag. The weekender is huge making it the best choice for traveling. 
• Be prepared to be stopped carrying your Nena and Co bag. While in the Salt Lake airport, Summer and I were stopped at least 7 times asking where are bags were from.
