Happy Thursday everyone! One of my favorite ways to get my cardio in is by running stairs at the beach in my Nike Free’s. I like to set a goal depending on the length of the stairs. For this set of stairs at my local beach, I do 10 sets. So that’s 10 times down and 10 back up. In between each set I do 10 pushups off the railing (or you can also do it from a bench or on the ground). Take advantage of what you have. This is not easy for me! I am huffing and puffing and swearing in my head;) after my 4th or 5th set. Setting a goal of 10 sets keeps me in check and helps me finish. Tip: after a few sets of staring at each step, I start to get a little dizzy. Best way to get past that? Start skipping steps and do 2 or 3 at a time. This helps me concentrate and keeps my head clear.
