#ootd + 3 things on my mind…

Here’s a little fun fact about me: I prefer to shop alone. Why? Because I’m quick! I don’t walk around an entire store and look until I find something. I can walk in and know within 30 seconds if I’ll find something. It’s true. I’m a dream shopper for my husband and a terrible shopper for friends. In and out, as quick as possible! This dress caught my eye within 5 seconds along with the skirt from THIS post and within 5 mins I had paid and was out the door. Just how I like it.

3 things on my mind…

1.Skin care! Ever since I found out I was pregnant I had to stop using all my favorite retinol treatments and other products not recommended for pregnancy. I have to admit, I thought this would be really tough for me to quit using my top products. I also developed some hormonal acne around my chin and jaw that has been frustrating. After LOTS of  trial and error on products that are safe to use, I found a few I really love! This Tata Harper Complex is like a multi-vitamin for my skin. I have dry skin and use it everyday under my moisturizer. Also by TH, the resurfacing mask. It’s such a great way to exfoliate your skin. I use this once or twice a week and leave it on for 20 mins. This 100% natural eye cream is INCREDIBLE! This brightening cleanser was started by a woman who overcame a brain tumor and wanted to create a line of safe products anyone can use. Bonus, it smells like strawberries! This natural line created in Greece has some of the best facial oils I’ve used including this brightening oil and this firming oil. I’m going to do a full natural skincare post in a few weeks. Stay tuned..

2. We have two birthdays in our family to celebrate this week, Goldie on Wednesday and Jeff on Thursday. That’s two parties & two excuses for me to eat cake! These two are the dreamiest duo. Jeff is the greatest person to come into Goldie’s life. It’s also prob the only person she’d be cool sharing a birthday with too. haha
