I experienced an incredible age defying treatment last week at my favorite Med Spa in New York City. Russak Dermatology Clinic, I saw Christina Biscardi, who is a licensed aesthetician,certified medical electrologist, and laser technician. Every facial is designed for your personal needs so the steps and product can change with every visit. I love this spa because they use SkinCeuticals, which happens to be my favorite line. I’ve worked with this line in the past when I worked in the medical skin care world. I trust this product and believe in it! It works and changes your skin.

My skin has been pretty dehydrated this summer and I get irritated redness in my cheeks after work outs and time in the sun. The new  Phyto Corrective Masque  worked it’s magic and left my skin tone even, smooth and hydrated.

The esthetician used the new Phyto Corrective Masque on my skin after a light glycolic peel. The masque is calming and soothing. The plant properties help take the redness out of your skin while the thyme and cucumber heal any irritation. It’s the perfect product to keep at home for post workout redness and irritated skin after trips or days in the sun.

You can create my facial in your home by following these steps…

1.CLEANSE your skin with Simply Clean, this cleanser will leave your skin fresh and clean. It removes all make up. I double cleanse. The first cleanse gets off make up, dirt and impurities. the second cleanse actually cleanses the skin.

2.EXFOLIATE your skin. In the spa we need a medical grade chemical peel. At home you can use RETEXTURIZING ACTIVATOR with it’s 20% Glycolic strength. It will smooth your skin and help fight those fine lines and wrinkles. It’s needed to break down the top barrier and help with your cell turnover to keep your skin looking fresh and youthful

3.MASQUE with the Phyto Corrective Masque. This will bring hydration to your skin. Improves irritation and soothes the skin. It’s perfect for after the gym, sunburns, exfoliating, and really great for acneic skin. Anything that seems inflamed or irritated would definitely benefit from this masque or the serum.

4.CORRECT your skin with the Triple Lipid Restore cream. It’s going to help restore collagen and skin firmness. It’s the perfect cream for anti-aging.

5. PROTECT your skin with Physical Fusion UV defense sunscreen. I love this sunscreen because it matches the color of your skin tone. It protects you from sun damage and also against free radicals in your environment. This is such an important step! Don’t forget your sunscreen!
