St. Regis Monarch Beach

Last weekend I had the privilege of a little stay-cation at the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, California. Oh man, it was unreal! Everything about this place is luxury. We started our stay with a massage. I’m talking a long, relaxing, I can’t even move after massage. It was pure heaven and just what I needed on my neck and shoulder. Later that evening we headed down to the Monarch Bay Club for a sunset dinner on the patio. There are two things I don’t ever tire of seeing: the ocean and the sun setting. We dined on lobster and crab fondue, steak, sea bass over risotto, chocolate molten cake, truffle mac n’ cheese..everything was incredible!

I was still full from dinner but managed to indulge in the world’s greatest brunch the next morning at Motif. I’m serious. We ate. And by ate, I mean devoured plate after plate from the omelet bar, to crab(best I’ve ever had), brioche french toast with every topping you can imagine, crepe bar, salads, Korean BBQ, mini cheesecakes. They had it all!!

The St. Regis is the perfect romantic stay-cation if you are local and a must-see destination next time you are in Orange County! They offer a wide variety of activities from paddle boarding, surf lessons, world class golf, fine dining, gorgeous pool, the Spa Gaucin, and yoga. If it’s fun or relaxing, the St.Regis has it! We loved our time here and can’t wait to return very soon.
