1.What does your husband do for a living?

He is in finance and works as an investment banker. Commutes to Times Square.

2.Are you religious?

Yes! I love religion and take my faith in God very serious. We are Christian.

3.What have you heard about Kybella? Pro’s and cons please?

I’ve heard amazing things. I have even seen two demo’s of it and couldn’t believe the before and after. The demo’s I saw was under the chin area. I just remember her thinking it was a bit painful. Make sure and ask for numbing cream!

4.About how much do you spend on Botox? First timer here.

Probably $250-$300 per area.

5.Advice for first time mom?

Find what works for you and stop listening to everyone else. Everyone has advice when it comes to parenting and newborns. Listen to your gut. You have a special bond with your baby and you will figure out what is best for the two of you. Don’t obsess about being perfect and don’t forget to ask for help when you need it. Oh and WRITE THINGS DOWN! I have old journals of when my kids were just little newborns. You end up forgetting most of it (I never thought I would, but I did!) so write down everything, even the silly day to day things. I wrote down the first night I sleep trained Davis. I cried all night and ate 2 pints of ice-cream because I was so stressed out. Things like that are so great to look back on. Moms are super-heros! It’s so hard!

6.What to look for in a surgeon that does mommy makeovers?

Make sure they are certified through the board of Plastic Surgeons. Read reviews. Ask the surgeon to call past patients to talk to them about their experience. Look them up on instagram. Read comments and messages people are writing to the doctor and his staff. Make sure the doctor does mommy makeover cases all the time. If I wanted my nose done I would only research doctors that work on the face. So get specific when you search for the correct doctor.

7. Where was your favorite family vacation?

When we took the kids to London and Paris. It was honestly magical. I’ll cherish it forever. Also we love Lake George each summer. It’s probably my runner up.

8.How many units of Botox do you get?

I do 10 on my forehead and 10 more around my eyes I think. Here is a BOTOX POST on what you need to know.

9.Have you done any facial fillers?

I talked about doing my UNDER EYES HERE. People always ask if I do my cheeks. I do not. I was born with really big cheeks. Kids in elementary school called me chipmunk face. Kids are brutal, lol.

10.Top 2 products from new Beauty Counter retinol line?

It’s hard to pick 2! I’m obsessed with the counter line. It feels so luxurious. I love the Retinatural complex and it’s safe for pregnant women and nursing women. (gives same results as retinol)

Radiance Serum and the Eye Cream are the two I wouldn’t want to live without.

11.How do you organize your schedule? When did you start blogging?

I wrote a post about WHY I BLOG HERE. I have an amazing Talent Manager/assistant that helps me so much. We have daily calls and she keeps me organized. We use google sheets, calendar, and shared albums to keep track of everything. In the summer I feel completely out of control while traveling and kids home. During the school year I feel much more organized. I work when the kids are at school.

12. If you workout in the morning – do you do your skincare routine before or after? Or both?

I wake up and do my skincare before I head out. I always want the VITAMIN C to be on my face the second I leave the house. I repeat my morning skincare routine when I get back from the gym. I also leave cleanser, SPF ( SUNSCREEN) in my bag and this CC CREAM (light medium and medium are my colors) if I run errands after the gym. Also this  COLORSCIENCE STICK (I wear medium) doubles as my powder with SPF in it! PS- there is a 25% off dermstore sale happening right now!!

My Skincare Routine

morning regimen– 1. wake up wash face ENZYME CLEANSER  2. apply VITAMIN C (skin ceutical dupe and made by my dermatologist. I’m obsessed) – let absorb for 1 minute, 3. apply MOISTURIZER (I’m hooked on the triple lipid. I promise it’s worth the price), 4. apply SUNSCREEN  (this one is formulated for skin that is prone to hyperpigmentation or breakouts)5. EYE BALM,(best around and not near as expensive as what I was using from my doctor. It’s half the price and amazing!) in the mornings & at night I put it on 6. ANTI-AGING CONCEALER(medium sand)/ for under eyes and anywhere else you need coverage (conceals dark spots, bags under eyes, veins, pigment, break outs, scars)  If I was stranded on a island this is the one product I’d take. I’m lost without it. I actually feel naked when I’m not wearing it. 7. COLORSCIENCE STICK (I wear medium) doubles as my powder with SPF in it!

night regimen -1. wash face LHA CLEANSER 2.RETINOL SERUM 3.RESURFACING PEEL (safe while nursing & pregnant, contains retinatural complex which is plant based)  4.Triple Lipid Restore

13.I need some day dress options that I can ride a bike in on vacation. I plan to wear bike shorts underneath.

Obsessed with the color and fit of THIS DRESS / LEOPARD DRESS will be so cute with sneakers on a bike with a hat! / This DRESS is amazing and can be worn with a tee under it too. / Belted MIDI DRESS in polka dots in amazing.

14. I have my 20 yr reunion. What should I wear?

Something really fun and unique. Think about what makes you feel the most comfortable in your own skin and play that up. I love dresses or skirt and top sets. So I would choose to find something in those categories. Maybe you love denim and heels. Or a tank and skirt. Ps- Zara has so many fun things out right now.

15. How do you make the decision to buy the dupe or splurge. Do you compare quality, brand?

I love to take dupes with me when I travel. I also buy a dupe when I know I will only use it short term. I have a really great DUPE LIST going. Check it out! They are all the MATCHED POSTS in the series tab.
