Jenna, Ashley and myself
Over the weekend Jenna and I had the privilege to attend The Shine Project’s beauty event in Phoenix.
Local salons and boutiques set up shop offering services and goods for all in attendance. Our very favorite had to be the bracelets by Threads. These bracelets are hand made by kids, many whom are first generation college students.
When you listen to Ashley, the founder of Shine Project speak or watch her interact with her team you can’t help but feel that there is so much good in the world. Ashley is inspiring! The amount of love she radiates is huge. Her organization is a cause we support and admire. Check out Ashley and her incredible work, here.

Love everything about the Shine Project. Just went online and bought the “Stack it up” set for myself. Will keep this site taged for gift ideas for friends. Thanks for sharing!!
Oh good! So glad that you bought a few things. It’s such a great cause and you will love the bracelets. I have worn mine every day since the event.
The Shine Project is so great! I heard about it last year, and have since ordered several bracelets for myself, my daughter, and a few of her friends for gifts. Each one is slightly different from the other and I love that they are handmade by someone who is trying to better themselves. And you both looked gorgeous as usual!
We love the bracelets too. Thanks for your kind words! ARe you coming to the peek event today? 🙂
