Vince Kids + back to school stress

I’m a long time fan of Vince for women and was super excited to see they now make clothes for kids! My kids appreciate how soft the cotton is and have asked a few times if they can wear the tees to bed because they are so cozy. Avery chose the moto style jean for her look. Oh man, they are amazing!! By far the coolest jeans I’ve ever bought my girls. We’re loving the Vince kids line in a pretty big way and lucky for you lots of items are now on sale!

What I’m not loving is the stress of back-to-school. This is the first year all three girls are in school. Here’s the rundown:

Avery: totally cool with it. Even though she didn’t end up with any of her friends from last year in her class she’s happy to go and makes the most of it. Wakes up on time, helps make lunches and doesn’t complain.

Poppy: this is the first year Poppy has come home from school saying she “loved it”! This is big for Poppy. I mean she still wakes up each morning telling me that if I loved her I would let her sleep in and homeschool her, but she has come home excited each day. Like I said, this is a big deal for Poppy and it makes my life a lot easier.

Goldie: ..and then we have Gold. Talk about major separation anxiety. This is Goldies 1st year away from me. She was SO excited for school to start and the moment it did she was totally over the idea. Her teacher told me she sits at her table crying and draws pictures of me instead of playing. She keeps this drawing of me in her backpack and I’m certain her teacher, who has no idea what I do thinks I’m a total narcissist because of it. They even had to pull Avery out of class to console her. I’m trying to practice some tough love or just think of really good bribery…
