Vince kids for Nordstrom

Hey, we have big news! Vince clothing for kids is at Nordstrom and it’s better than ever. I LOVE Vince for women + men so I was really excited about this! We took the kids this weekend to Sail Boat Pond in Central Park to try out their Vince clothes. I’d say it was a success!

Davis is super picky about the texture of his clothes. The winter months are really tough to find jeans that don’t make him feel claustrophobic or stiff. I was beyond thrilled when he told me these clothes passed his test. They really are so soft and comfortable. The thermal is beyond soft. I want it in my size. He promised to never complain again if he could stick with Vince jeans this winter. I will be following the sales!

While we were walking to the pond I had one of those heart attack moments. You know the one that makes you wish you could freeze time or wish it was just a dream? Well that happened. Davis and Gwen are pro-scooter kids. They are really safe and know how to control the breaks. I don’t worry about them. Chloe hasn’t passed all the safety requirements to be able to scooter in the city by herself quit yet. While Dennis and I were looking for directions to the pond Chloe was super sneaky and got out of  her stroller. She grabbed Gwen’s scooter and took off. We were already in Central Park and standing at the top of a very big hill. Chloe took off on the scooter straight down the hill.  We tried to catch her but she was cruising really fast and was screaming at the top of her lungs. (these kick scooters have the wax wheels and go speedy fast) Then I started screaming at all the pedestrians to have someone catch her. People just stared at watched Chloe whiz right by. I was beyond freaked out at this point. Then luckily this man that I call (Chloe’s angel) jumped out of nowhere and grabbed her right before she ran into the snack metal carts. I was shocked she kept her balance and stayed on the scooter the entire way down the hill. I’m so thankful to the man that wasn’t too scared or too busy to help make a difference in someone else’s life. It meant the world to me and Chloe. She could have ended up in the hospital. So, thank you to the man that was our angel yesterday. I hope to pay it  forward this week and make a difference in someone else’s life.

xx
