wedding reception
Last summer I was hired to style and plan a wedding reception. Although I didn’t have any experience I jumped at the chance to use some creativity and thought it sounded fun. It couldn’t be that hard right? I was very wrong. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done. It was 4 months of planning and stress. I almost threw in the towel a few different times. It weighed on me day after day that how this couple pictured everything was all in my hands. Was I going to be able to make it all they expected? Well, other than it being the hottest day of the summer in Laguna Beach & some problems with the cake, flowers and trolley, the bride and groom loved it! It was such a relief! I learned so much through this experience. This was way out of my comfort zone but taught me that in life we can conquer and do hard things. I also got some practice for when I have to plan wedding receptions for my three girls. I finally got to see the video from that day and thought it would be fun to share. See it here.

amazing summer!!! way to go and take that on with all that you have on your plate already. WISH i could have witenessed the joy in my beautful cousins eyes on that day. if only russ played in the olympics a week before or after!!;) haha
