Drugstore Beauty Products

As skincare professionals and extreme product junkies we know when we find something great.
This is a list of our top 5 drugstore beauty products we can’t live without.

Summer’s Picks
Neutrogena Sheers–  This tinted moisturizer is perfect for everyday as it’s light, gives skin a glow and has an spf 30 to protect.
ELF lip balm– Only $3 and comes in a cute tube, has spf and gives lips quick color while moisturizing.
Tom’s Deodorant– FINALLY Tom’s of maine does it right!  A deodorant that works and has a perfectly light scent.
It’s a 10 miracle– A must have for detangling mommy or kid’s hair after bath or showers. Works amazing while leaving a conditioning treatment on hair for heat and styling protection.
Biore– Their specific blemish fighting ice cleanser works amazing and I have not had a breakout since using this!

Jenna’s Picks
Olay Microdermabrasion Kit– Trust me ladies. This is as good as the real deal. I owned my own microdermabrasion for years and this is a fantastic alternative.
Maybelline Lips– Creamy and it doesn’t make my lips dry out like almost everything else. You will need to re-apply
Olay Skin Brush– This skin brush has two speeds. Water resistant & can be used in shower. Softer than Clarisonic so you may prefer it if you have sensitive skin.
Mela D La Roche Posay– This gets rid of dark spots! It was only available for professionals but now is sold at TARGET! Best Pigment Controller.
Crest White Strips 3D– Get white teeth in as little as 20 minutes! Safe and effective. I keep them in my purse.

Lisa’s Pick’s
Cherry me by Maybelline– Subtle color and moisturizing. I can’t handle not having something on my lips.

Regenerist– This cream works! Promise.
Eye Liner by Maybelline– I’ve tried them all. This one will not smudge.
Dry Shampoo by Salon Grafix- I wash my hair once a week, I repeat once a week. Invisible is key
Tanner, Banana Boat– By far the best drugstore tanner.&n

  1. An imprеssive ѕhare! I’ve just forwarded this onto a colleague who has been doing a little homework on this. And he actually bought me dinner because I found it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending time to talk about this issue here on your site.

My web blog … ephedra ban

  2. Thanks for the tips! Gonna try some out. My daughter uses the MAC tinted moisturizer, I’m all about trying out the Neutrogena brand for her, and we are always needing a good blemish fighting anything!

  3. Love this blog! So many great products and posts. I have a skin care question- I have a clarisonic that I use once a day and I’m curious if I should also be using some sort of exfoliant or micro derm system?
    Thanks!
    Aly

    • Microdermabrasion products abrade the skin and are not meant for daily use. Clarisonic uses sonic oscillation and the skin’s natural elasticity to clean gently, deeply and thoroughly, and can be used twice daily. You can definitely use an exfoliation product 1-2x a week or even start getting microdermabrasions once a month. Clarisonic is great because it does stimulate your collagen but it doesn’t slough off the dead skin cells like the microderm can. It sounds like you are on the right track! Just add an exfoliation step to your routine.

  4. I love this post! Wrote down my list for Target today. My faves are: Garnier BB cream, ELF liquid eyeliner in black, Curel body lotion, Aveeno moisturizing body wash, and Colossal mascara in glam black by Maybelline.

  5. I love it’s a 10 for my hair! And since we are talking Target, I read about the NO7 lift and luminate creams in a magazine and decided to give them a try. So far, I’m pleasantly surprised!

  6. Your site is so fun! Found it through Beth Goodman on Instagram. Love the Oil of Olay brush, got a good deal on it at Costco. I love ELF’s blush in Pink Passion, it’s close to Bobbi Brown’s pale pink.

  7. My top 5 are the Olay regenerist cream (love) Maybelline Falsies mascara, No7 soft and sheer tinted moisturizer, neutrogena make-up remover wipes and the elf products. Hope you guys do a splurge one 🙂

  8. My Top 5 Drugstore finds are…1) Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock 2) Neutrogena Oil-free eye makeup remover 3) Biosilk Silk Therapy 4) Loreal EverStrong Overnight Hair Repair Treatment 5) Loreal Voluminous mascara.

  9. Hooray for product posts! Could you please do a post on each of your top 5 splurges? I’m curious to know what products you find worthy of a splurge. I recently discovered La Mer cream and I’m loving it so far, but it’s definitely a splurge.

  10. I love all the ELF products. I love the ELF blush/bronzer duo that looks exactly like the NARS orgasim/laguna duo, and it’s only $3.00! As a makeup artist, I love finding great products at a great price! Another fave I’ve found is the REVLON Just Bitten Kissable- sheer lip balm that is also a stain.

    • Essie polish is for sure a great Target find! We love all these big brand names popping up at our one stop shop, Target!

  11. How fun is this?! I am so excited to get the Olay Skin Brush. I have been looking into the Clarisonic, just didn’t want to spend so much! This is perfect! Also excited to try a bunch of these other goodies. I’ve used the Olay Regenerist for years, love it! Looking forward to hitting up Target today.

    • Yes, Jenny it really is such a great alternative to the Clarisonic. Great price point too. Let us know what you think!
